It seems that summer is over all too quickly. Probably because school starts so early in August and for many that signals that summer is gone. The public pools close up, and we are all busy getting our children ready for another exciting school year. My daughter will be a kindergartner this year, We are all getting excited about it. The last child I had going to kindergarten was 20 years ago. At least I have a distant memory of what it will be like. I think that first day I will be the one who is nervous and may shed a tear or two. But time keeps marching on and we have to face it with feelings of opportunity, embrace it with trust and know that the possibilities are endless!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone who has been blessed with the opportunity to love a child. I not only have two wonderful, outstanding children, but have been fortunate enough to have loved, cared for and taught many children in my life, who have touched my life greatly. God bless you all. Laurel.

I work for a school district, and am so looking forward to the rejuvination summer break brings for all who are in education.
